With all of the Monty Python references on the show, I was surprised when a Monty Python alumni appeared in a MST3K episode and they didn't make one riff on it.
By the way, this is also a trivia question. Who appeared and in what episode?

Hmmm.
Can't think of any major players...
Maybe the guy with his own personal firetruck in Pumaman?
Or was this in the KTMA season?

It wasn't in the KTMA episode and the player appeared in 1 MST3k ep but many Python eps.

You got it. I saw her name in the credits and went back to see if they riffed on it but they didn't. I wonder which of the Mads loved Python?

Well, Trace did a perfect "The Larch...The Larch" on Wasp Woman. But that's a guess.
I was thinking Carol Cleveland, but couldn't place her in an episode.

She's the steward on the spaceship. Only in it for about 2 minutes but she does have a speaking part. When I was looking for it I recognized her voice right away.

I expected them to say, "I though you were so butch" when she was talking to the hero. (Quote from memory )

Watched that episode just the other night. Yep, Carol Cleveland and yes no Monty Python joke. I wonder if they knew who she was? It may have just slipped past them. I think we've had threads on this before - "great riffs missed."

I'd have pegged Trace as a definite fan, his sense of humour seems to fit perfectly and he tends to be the one who makes the references. Plus from some of his performances I'd say he's a big John Cleese fan.

I've seen the ep 20 times and I only caught it when I read the credits.

I don't have that episode yet: I couldn't figure it out, so I thought it had to be one I haven't seen. I love my Pythons, so I would've recognized her in an instant. I would say it could've been a conscious decision to leave out any Python riffs, like they seemed to have done with the Bradys when Robert Reed was on "Bloodlust!," but if Carol was only on for a coupla minutes, I doubt it.

I watched that episode just last week. I totally missed the steward as Carol Cleveland. Although I remember the scene. I am a huge Python fan as well. Now I feel shame. Oh well Albatross

Oh well Albatross It's easy to miss her with the outfit she's wearing. She's covered from head to toe and her head's covered with a futheristic hood thingy. I've seen every python show and movie 20 times and I missed her.
