Oh no, the person in my example is always very civil. (He's in no way a bad person.) He never calls people out in an insulting way like that. I never meant to imply that he did. He’s just isn’t a fan of the show and he lets people know it in a polite manner.
If he was upsetting the people who are fans of the show with his persistent negativity (not a negitive person, just dosent like the show) what would you do if you were in my place?

Hay now, Everyone is entitled to their own opinion here, even if it is terribly, horribly wrong!!!Kidding! Although I don’t agree with him there no reason to get nasty about it. We’re all family here. A twisted, cannibalistic, inbred family of irradiated mutants that sets up road blocks on rural country roads in order to trap vacationers to sacrifice to Ba’al perhaps, but family none the less. I didn't think we were being nasty, I was just being snarky. Like you said we're all family and I don't know about you but it's par for the course to torture your little bother when he's bugging you. I didn't mean to be nasty, I was just being a teasing lttle bitch. No real harm was intented. Hell I've been teased harder than that on this board and it didn't cause this much of a stir. I'm sorry if I injured your feelings Bob.

Excuse me, I am the only BOB in this thread (real name is NOT PSLOwner..... SHOCK!) and I LOVE the choices of bad horror movies so far.
I love horror movies and seeing cheesy ones riffed on is heaven for me.

^ Well I hope your a Bob who can be teased 'cause I'd hate to have to turn off my sarcasm sequencer (and I'm very disappointed that your name isn't actualy 'pslowner Francis McGillicuty', or something like that).
Movies, movies, movies? As for movies I'm rather like Johnny, in that I don't care.
There are a few I'd loved to see riffed on (Frankensteins Daughter) but I'm here for the laughs, Make me laugh and I'll watch paint dry.

So MHO-- It was okay but still not good. It still wasn't fun. Watching riffed movies should be fun! And for me, I think it may all come down to the movies. If you're going to have terrible, TERRIBLE movies, you gotta really bring the fun and funny. With CTs laid-back interject a line style, I really think the movie has to carry itself. So, I ask, Where are the fun movies!!? Let's have a Hercules or B&W kids running from a rubber monster movie!! Unfortunately, next movie has already been announced and seen by some live, and it is another TERRIBLE, unlikable crap-hole of a movie. I'm already not looking forward to it. Not good. I'm holding out hope for the Xmas movie that's been alluded to. Again, I feel I must interject that Cinematic Titantic is not Mystery Science Theater 3000. After four episodes, there seems to be a pattern emerging as to the type of movies they're doing, more of a "self-inflicted bad movie" pain. You don't like those kind of bad movies, ok, I got that. And yes, while this is a MST3k forum, this is a CT subforum. I tried 10 Rifftracks and I only found two I could rewatch. And so I stopped posting in the Rifftrack subforum because I didn't have anything to contribute beyond "Why are they so disposable?" Your contribution: "Why are the movies not fun?" More fun, more funny? No, you said "fun". While I can argue that they are fun and that I think what you want is "MST3k brand" light cheese, I won't. What I would say that the CT styled movies are "foo": Fou, Fu, Fubar and Foo all wrapped up in one disgusting package. The type of movie commonly known as "dreck", I think. I like dreck. The Coleman Francis trio, Monster a-Go-Go, Manos, it's all so bad it's not really good at all and for me, that's great. And now I have the Oozing Skull, Legacy of Blood and the Doomsday Machine. I can't include the Wasp Woman as that movie is almost watchable except for the fact it isn't very good.

I like "dreck" too. CT is helping me get my fix there. And Rifftrax is helping me watch movies I might never consider otherwise. I guess I'm fortunate as I've enjoyed each for what they are.

I was off for Veteran’s day yesterday and finally got a chance to watch this one. So far I’ve only seen Legacy of Blood and Wasp Woman and I really liked them both. The movie itself is definitely sick and most definitely unwatchable without some high quality riffing. I loved all the jokes aimed at Johnny’s styling outfit and his unfortunate resemblance to Joe Don Baker. The guy who played Carl (Leslie’s husband) looked familiar to me and I had to look him up. He changed his name to John Smith (he was born Robert Errol Van Orden). It struck me as kind of strange b/c his real name sounds more like a stage name and who picks such a bland stage name anyway. Yeah, with a name like John Smith, you’re really gonna stand out – dummy. After I got through wondering about the whole name issue, I scrolled down his list of films and then it hit me. He had a bit part in Friendly Persuasion made 15 years earlier in 1956. That film was nominated for a Best Picture Oscar and starred my favorite actor Gary Cooper (and my dream man even if he died nearly 50 years before I was born ). How sad to go from being in a “real” movie with A list actors to this piece of putrid celluloid. Overall, I’d say it was a solid episode with many laugh out loud moments. Keep ‘em coming!!

Okay, so I'm really late to this party. I fell behind on ordering CT releases, but I finally did something about it and ordered everything from Wasp Woman on up to Blood of the Vampires.
Legacy of Blood is a horrible movie, which is no surprise. I think the riffing gets better with each movie. The cast continues to gel. This has my favorite host segment yet: "Which Thing Won't Kill You?" Josh and Trace were both hilarious. I loved Joel's New York accent: "I'm gonna take a leak right here. Ease on down, ease on down the road." It's all a matter or personal taste, but I thought this was a very fun episode.
Concerning the movie, is it me, or is the blonde woman who was electrocuted with her husband the same blonde actress from The Doomsday Machine? "Without my glasses, you're just a big blurry horndog."
My only real complaint is that the DVD is glitchy on my Pioneer DV-444. It has a hard time playing and the video keeps stuttering, like it locks up for a second then catches up with where it's supposed to be. It clears up after about 15 minutes, but I think I'm going to have to send it back for a replacement.

...I think I'm going to have to send it back for a replacement. I had similar problems once and had to return a disc. No problem with a prompt replacement.

I just realized the connection between this movie and the MST3K movie. Faith Domergue who played Veronica Dean, the older sister, was Dr. Ruth Adams in This Island Earth. If that's not enough, Jeff Morrow, who played Veronica's older brother Gregory, was Exeter ("Doug Exeter.") For one more MST3K bonus, Merry Anders who played Gregory's wife Laura was in Women of the Prehistoric Planet as Lt. Karen Lamont ("You couldn't even get me on the launching pad.")
I love all these little connections. It adds to the fun of it all.

So you'll enjoy my two cents, Dr. Krasker. The actor playing Igor was "Julius" in Planet of the Apes. Not sure who Julius was? He was the gorilla where Taylor was caged in Dr. Zera's lab, who hit him with the fire hose and said, "Shut up, you freak! I said SHUT UP!"
How hard did I have to dig to find that piece of minutia? Too hard.
