It has begun: I just sold my last set at work to a couple of fans yesterday. Apparently Shout! had a manufacturing delay and the non-tin version has not made it to retail yet.

Both of those links are for the non-tin version (which hasn't made it out yet)..

That UPC code matches my regular, non-tin Anniversary set that I've had since October.

The box inside the tin is what they will be selling as the "regular" edition.

I ordered the tin from DeepDiscount.com and they sent me the standard edition. I called and told them that I paid more for the tin so if it is sold out I'll keep the standard but I want a price adjustment. Even if the difference is only $10, that's a $10 head start on the next set.

out of curiosity, how'd they deal with that? were they cool about the price adjustment?

OK, I called back a second time and I guess I talked to someone different. This girl went and checked and said that they would be mailing out a shipping label to me to return the standard 20AE and as soon as they get it back, they will send me the Limited edition. That is so cool, I wanted that darn tin so bad. I'm going to send it back to them with delivery confirmation so they can't say they never got the set back.

Here is hoping that you actually get it. They don't even have the 20th anniversary anything listed on the site right now.

If anyone wants to know, Shout! made 25,000 of the tin.

Well, I sent it back with delivery confirmation so they can't say they NEVER got it. According to my tracking number they got it today. So now they are supposed to send out the tin. I hope I get it.
