I learned a lot too. I guessed The Beatles for that question, just because most of my real life music fights are centered around them.

A 98 is damn impressive. I had to resort to a lot of googling and board searches, think I probably ended up with an 80 something. But got some measure of satisfaction by correctly guessing "Rush" for question #8 purely by chance. Thanks. It took a ton of research and luck--i stumbled over a lot of answer-filled threads (ie. the book of lore) and spent many, many hours combing the depths of Rick Sloane and Tom Servo's bedroom. It was a lot of fun, and I feel like I learned a lot about this board and its inhabitants. ETA: oh yeah, and thanks Mr. Atari, this was a very fun contest and I'm sure it was quite a bit of work for you. I gotta say I didn't think anybody would do as well as you did, nice job.

I learned a lot too. I guessed The Beatles for that question, just because most of my real life music fights are centered around them. A music battle could only be about Rush or Bob Dylan, and only one of those is technically a band.

I got to admit that Robot Holocaust question was pretty sneaky. I wonder did anybody guess correctly or did everybody else answer Valeria like I did?

A good percentage of people got the Robot Holocaust question right. Much to my surprise.

Oh snap! I answered Varleria too! I'm guessing my final score was around 75 or so. Not bad really. The book of lore was incredibly helpful! Even though I thought this contest ended weeks ago, I still thought I had a pretty good shot at a high finish. Congrats to those who did win. Enjoy your prizes!

I got to admit that Robot Holocaust question was pretty sneaky. I wonder did anybody guess correctly or did everybody else answer Valeria like I did? I had Valeria filled in as a working answer, then a couple of days before I submitted, I was watching the missing stingers for RH on youtube, and someone in the comments pointed out that the line was never said in the film.

I really liked this contest a lot. Trivia contests are always fun. And BTW Dylan is better than RUSH.

I don't think it...I know the Stones are better than the Beatles. Beatles didn't have but 5 good albums. The early years were a mixed bag of mediocre to good songs, none were great. Beatles were just a copy of The Monkees anyway.

Plus, I like a bands with vocalists who can sing...... Goo Goo G'joob!
