I can only speculate that since Shout Factory has taken over the dvd sales for MST3K that perhaps Rhino is/will be discontinuing sale of their dvd's. It could be the all of the copies of Hellcats are sold out. But after reading this post, I just went and ordered my Rhino single dvd copy of episode/experiment # 106 The Crawling Hand. I have had this on VHS for years but in anticipation or Rhino running out of this as well, I went ahead and ordered it.

Also it's possible Rhino chose not to renew the rights to HELLCATS since it was a single disc (and the box sets seem to outsell single episode DVDs).

Well, not quite as much anymore . . . Almost makes me want to sell mine.
It's never been one of my favorite episodes. But I think I'll hold onto it anyway since I have so few MST3K DVDs as it is.

Also, Hellcats is a Crown International movie and I believe that since all of the rights to the Crown films have been sold off to BCI, it's safe to assume that it's now out of print.

Certainly does seem to be OOP now. I'm going to put it back up on my site.

It was listed as out of print on the offical website a couple months ago. I just snaged it off Amazon for $10.00! ;D Score! Next cheapest was $35.00.

There's no mention of it officially OOP on Amazon, and it has come down in price somewhat (upper $20's to low $30's, last I checked). But with Volume 8 becoming oop lately and Volume 7 on its way, that might change soon!

Makes me wonder if there will be any chance that this will wind up on a SF box set in the future!
