Classiest man in all 4 major professional sports.
I know it's not important right now, and for Dungy it's never been the top priority in life...but I'm officially pulling for the Colts to win it all this year.

I've always thought T.D. was a classy guy and I wish him all the luck in the world getting through this. It coudn't have happened at a worse time either. I'll be rooting for the Colts myself. I've never disliked them either so this will be very easy to do. If he doesn't come back for the rest of the season I would hope people will understand. That has to be the worst possible thing that can happen to a coach (or player) during the season.

How terrible.
Speaking on a non personal or empathetic level, this will certainly make the Colts a sentimental favorite. It also makes me wonder what kind of torturous emotional games that kid must have been going through. I can't imagine if some of his issues had to do with his dad: if he was thinking that doing this during his dad's dream season would somehow get back at him for whatever...just awful to think about.

Mr. Dungy is a class act and a heck of a coach, but he's no different than anyone else who goes through a similar situation, we feel for him.

So I'm watching the postgame stuff on the Holiday Bowl. And I hear *another* tribute to Tony Dungy's son.
Now don't get me wrong. I don't mind at all the respect. What really bothers me, though, is that all these sportscasters are using it as a way to make tv drama. "Now the Colts truly have something to play for"...a real quote. Is he kidding? It's like these guys are using Dungy's tragedy to sound serious and dramatic, and to just add to their own self-important "story-telling."
It's starting to be sick.
