Argh...
You know, I freely acknowledge the fact that I'm slow on the uptake and don't put things together well. But the more I think about it, there really wasn't any indication at all that Pushing Daisies was gonna be cancelled. No "tune in for the last episode" no "and hey, next week we're changing the schedule like crazy" no nothing. It just vanished, I'm fairly certain.
I just sent an email to ABC, and I'm gonna send a snailmail. It's one thing to drop a show, but it's another to do it quietly without letting the fans know about it. I know that it's too late to get the show back at this point, but still...it irks me. And they might's well know that it was the only TV show that I watched live anymore.
Anywya, has this ever happened to you? Just a sudden, inexplicable vanishing of a loved TV show? No warnings, no hints, just an entirely new schedule and the feeling that some executive had been here not too long ago?

Wonderfalls. (a Bryan Fuller Co-creation)
Brilliant show, loads of promos... then -poof- gone.
And Af, I hate to say it but with Daisies there was some indication, back in Novemeber ABC said they wouldn't renew it, which is why there was all the noise at getting Bryan Fuller back on a sinking Heroes a few months back.

I read on io9.com that Pushing Daisies was going to be on the summer schedule with new (or possibly the remaining unaired) eps.

I read on io9.com that Pushing Daisies was going to be on the summer schedule with new (or possibly the remaining unaired) eps. I hear they are going to air the final 3 episodes in late May. Is that what they are talking about or will their be more after that?
