Well, even at $250, that's 20 bucks a pop. Not bad as far as retail prices go. Looks like the auction just went up, though, so I'd be shocked if a free shipping auction like that stayed at a great price - it could go up to $500 and still be near retail for the in-print sets.

Rhino.com still has everything but Volumes 9 and 10 listed. I don't know what kind of stock they have on those, maybe the links are outdated (though you can still add them to your cart.)

Shhh... you know you improve your odds of winning by not discussing it on the MST3K board. Keep moving folks. Nothing to see here.

Agree with skyroniter, but let us know the result. I know it must be hard trying to round up these sets now, I feel so lucky I was able to get them back when the availability was better.

It isn't that hard...other then Vol. 9 and 10. I just started buying up the Rhino releases last year and have been able to get most of them pretty easy and for less then SRP and not 2nd hand. It just takes some looking around but they are out there. I only lack Vol. 5,6, 12, 13, and 14. (waiting for a good deal on 13 and 14.)

Whoever got it for $225 got a good deal, especially with 9 & 10 included. Or did they? eBay is showing heaps of cancelled bids. What's with that?

THe winner was a Zero-Ebay-History person, too. I always feel shaky about dealing with someone who has no history on EBay. I wonder if the transaction will actually go thru?
