i'm with you on the song, bix. calli and i both dig it. i did try looking it up online after i first saw AF, but couldn't really find anything about it. too bad a soundtrack wasn't released! we might be the only three people who ever bought it.

The band was called Atlantis. I found that, and i think the 2 song titles, off of the IMDB user reviews. Edit: The singer was apparently Lon Talbot (get it?) and here is a link: www.eofftv.com/a/ali/alien_factor_main.htm

Bought the downloadable version of this movie off the CT website yesterday. I'm honestly appalled by the movie, gotta be one of the worst I've ever seen. The riffs were brilliant, of course, no surprise there. Joel and Frank are still adorable. I'd definitely say buy the DVD if you can.

I love this DVD. the riffing is unbelievable. I really like cheesy monster movies and this one doesn't disappoint.

Watched this again and the crew really knew how to riff this.
But really, when the funniest moment (throw the gas can) comes from the movie itself, how can you go wrong.
I saw Galaxy Invader by the same director before seeing this or the Rifftrax version. What a bizarre film.
Anyways, both star a childhood icon, Captain 20 from the Washington DC television channel 20 in the 1970s. He's the Mayor in this film. Richard Dyszel. But he was always hosting cheesy movies, which is where my love of these movies came from. I bet he'd like the riffing.
