At your local Barnes and Noble (and their website) all Criterion Collection DVDs and Blurays are 50% off. Today I splurged and bought 4 DVDs: Cocteau's Beauty and the Beast and Kurosawa's Throne of Blood, Rashomon, and Red Beard - for the price of only 2 of those normally!
If, like me, you love what Criterion has to offer but their steep prices make getting one a rare treat this is like Christmas.
Go out! Buy The Spirit of the Beehive or The Red Balloon. Get Gilliam's Brazil or The Third Man. Would you like Solaris or Naked Lunch? And for the love of god if you don't own the 3-disc Seven Samurai set buy it as it's the greatest home video release of anything ever!

This was mentioned in the Deep Discount thread as well. (Thanks to both who brought it to our attention! Lord the $$ - I'm still debating buying the Harord Lloyd set from DD = From this I'd like to stock up on Kurosawa and get Charade too.

Managed to scrounge up some more petty cash and bought Kurosawa's Stray Dog.
$200 worth of DVDs for $100.
