I know this show has fans here, and I'm kind of one of them. But rather than praise I will critique. First of all, I love the concept. But one big problem is I just don't find the hosts, Jammie and Adam, very entertaining. Sure, I know they're qualified for this work but I just don't care for them as on screen personalities. Also I don't think I've ever seen an hour episode that wouldn't have benefited from being 30 min. Too much filler! And maybe someone who watches regularly can confirm this but I remember at first they would take one myth at a time, finish it and move on. Now it seems they start one, go on to something else and make you wait to see the results of the first one. I know why they do this, it's a cheap device to keep you hanging around and not channel surf. It might be good business but I don't like it. But the best thing this show ever did was add Kari Byron. Every minute she's on screen is TV ecstasy. But it makes it even harder to watch those two creepy guys.
I await the backlash.

I don't catch it that often, but I agree. What I've seen lately is standard TV poopie to keep me watching, I change the channel instead.

Mythbusters is amazing. I like the hosts and the way the show is run, but I only really noticed it a few months ago. I sometimes think the experiments could be designed better, but other than that I think it's a great show.

I'm a Mythbuster newbie. But Mrs. Atari and I have been watching most of the afternoon today, and I'm hooked.
Mrs. Atari loves those TLC shows like "What Not To Wear", "Clean Sweep", and other such crap I can't stand. At first, "Mythbusters" struck me as one of those shows, since it's the same style and feel. But the subject matter is far more interesting and educational.
I like Adam more than Jamie, because he reminds me of a guy I grew up with.

I finally watched one because someone here had praised it.
I thought it was a lot of fun. I liked seeing Grant Inahara (Sp?) among the cast. I remember him in Battlebots (back when BB was fun and not merely shoving matches) I think he created 'Deadblow' -or one of those hammer w/spike bots.
I always get a kick out of these type of things. Junkyard Wars, the one where the guys transform a car...
Hosts are a little bland but not annoying so they're cool with me.

Junkyard wars was great when it was British. America ruined it. Just like Trigger Happy TV.

I've expressed my love of the show several times.
I think that part of the change with how the experiments have split up is to prevent surfing, but the experiments have also gotten a hell of a lot bigger. I just got done watching the entire first season, and blowing Buster up in a toliet is nothing compared to shredding a light aircraft. I do love these more destructive myths!
I adore Kari too, Phantom, although for not the same reasons. Actually, I love all the hosts. Grant and Tory (umm, Tory...) are creative and fun. I like Jamie's dry humor and Adam amuses me for being willing to injure himself. They're also both brillant (well, they all are)-I love watching the thought process between the two. A good example is "Paper Crossbow"-good dynamic. Being a techie nerd, these were the kind of guys I wanted to work for, and like hanging around. I stand up for Jamie and Adam.

I watched it once and liked it. It's the show I always claim sounds really cool and stuff but never end up actually sitting down and watching it. I wish I could get up the effort to do so.

Yes, a male one.
But who am I to judge?

I love the one where they make the Tree cannon.
Meh, I dunno, I like Jamie and Adam. They're better hosts than some shows have. But yeah, they could do a lot better if they just got on with the experiment and did, say, two myths busted in sequence rather than do the side myth-busting that they occasionally do (I haven't caught too many of the new ones, the last one I saw was the 'starting fire on a desert island' side myth and the 'chopped-up light plane' main myth)

I'm a very occasional viewer, probably seen 6-8 episodes total. I was kind of surprised when they had all these additional people in front of the camera. I only remembered Adam and Jamie originally, did they add these other people for season two or something? The only one I've seen with the 'additional' hosts was the one where they tried to do the 360 on the playground swing.
Anyways, always liked the show... but it's one of those things I'll watch if I stumble across it while surfing, but never seek it out on a regular basis.
