Jaworski, Ron Jaworski, played quarterback for the Eagles...
So, when I first saw Yucca Flats, I didn't know who Ron Jaworksi was, and the riff never stuck. Then, after Jaws' rise from ESPN segment reporter to a seat on the MNF booth team, I was watching the ep again, and it all clicked. Now, every time I hear him introduced on MNF or elsewhere on ESPN, I can't help but think of those deep, monotone, non-sequitur-y, words of the great poet Servo as Coleman Francis--
Jaworski, Ron Jaworski, played quarterback for the Eagles...

i gathered that apparently the russians had secretly gone to the moon and there was a picture somewhere of the flag on the moon that, if discovered, would totally blow the space race wide open? such a weird plot in beast of yucca flats, you have to be on peyote to follow it.
something about coleman, he could make an hour-long movie that made you feel like you just watched "solaris" in slow motion, backward, without subtitles.
"flag on the moon" is officially a golden riff contender, by the way....
