So I bought a group of old TV show seasons at Walmart the other day, them being the Adventures of Superman, Wonder Woman, and Lois & Clark. And I've been very slowly making my way through them and having a retro good time. Which prompted me to look up all these shows and start this thread.
I'll vote a tad later, because I gotta take off, but I thought I might as well get the poll started.

Well, in my case, there was one clear cut winner, and that would be the Incredible Hulk. I remember I made a thread a while back devoted to superhero shows, and it was the only live action show that I had ranked in my top five (though, if I had to stretch to 10, Birds of Prey would probably most certainly be on the list around number 7, methinks). Compelling drama and good jolly green giant action. This show was a joy when I was a kid, and it's just as much fun now that I'm an adult too.
Of those I've seen: 1. The Incredible Hulk 2. Birds of Prey 3. Batman 4. Adventures of Superman 5. The Flash 6. Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman 7. Smallville 8. Blade 9. Wonder Woman 10. The Amazing Spider-Man
Haven't seen: Shazam! The Secrets of Isis Superboy Human Target (either) Mutant X
Seen one episode many years ago, don't remember a damn thing about it: Swamp Thing

TV often doesn't have the scope and budget to do the comics justice. Wonder Woman was constantly fighting thugs with guns, while Hulk was throwing actors like Gerald McRainy around like a foootball... it all gets pretty boring after a while. I loved the Hulk for a season or so, but after a while it got corny and repetative.
Smallville at least gives us some costumes heroes and baddies to match up against Clark.
The Flash strugggled to find an identity, when it finally got into the costumed villian thing, it was entertaining.
Birds of Prey was enjoyable, though at times cheesy.
Human Target the new one (Haven't seen the original) is HT in name only. They stripped away what made the comic unique and what's left is pretty standard TV action fare. The best episodes (Sanctuary & Baptiste) were the best because they got into the charcaters past, which added some life and color.
Batman I liked when I was a kid. Can't get into it these days.
Not Marvel or DC, but I did watch some episodes of the Crow that were interesting.
I guess I'll go with Smallville because of episodes like Absolute Justice (with the JSA) which at least come close to being comic booky.

Hulk's definitely my number one. Cheesy but fun. I adored Bill Bixby in it, and Lou Ferrigno still rocks. I used to watch Batman and Amazing Spider-Man religiously, so they're tied for number two. And I LOVED Swamp Thing.

"The Incredible Hulk," if only for Bill Bixby's sensitive performance.

I loved both Batman and Shazaam and would watch The Hulk on occasion too. I watched Batman the most as I recall.

I watched re-runs of Adam West's Batman growing up, I loved it then. Now that I've grown up I look at it differently. The cheesyness is so over the top, but it still had its moments.
Same for the Hulk, it wasn't perfect but Bill Bixby's performance was very good.
The Flash struggled for a bit, but once it got to some of his villians, esp Mark Hamill's Trickster, it got very good. It's a shame it only lasted one season. I own the DVD set, pop in an episode every once in awhile.
Lois and Clark started off good, but then the writing and the plots got so silly it just ruined the show for me. The Lois Clone thing was bad, and then they have guest villian DELTA BURKE try to ruin the wedding. Still, I enjoyed it for awhile. I liked both Dean Cane and Terri Hatcher's work on the show.
Smallville has been a rollercoaster for me, its had some great moments and some really bad ones. I've enjoyed Tom Welling as Clark. I loved Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor and wished he hadnt left the show. I didn't like Erica Durance's Lois Lane at first but over the years she's grown on me. One thing I like is seeing other DC heroes on teh show like Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, the JSA, Flash ect. I'm hoping the storyarch with Zod is going to end in a knock down drag out fight with Clark.
I really like Human Target, I haven't read the comic book but I know of the character. I find the show very entertaining.
Growing up I was a Marvel guy, but I've become quite the fan of DC the last several years. I enjoy books from both companies now.
