You know you bought it. I couldn't neglect my duty to Blizzard. Plus, all the guys I played the original with 10 years ago told me that I was no man if I didn't log on to turtle as a marine until they hear "NUCLEAR LAUNCH...DETECTED."
...POWER...OVERWHELMING...!!!!

as a Korean I'm pretty sure it would only be adding to the stereotype if I played StarCraft. I already like math, isn't that Asian enough?

As a buddy of mine said, if North Korea ever missed the perfect opportunity to attack South Korea, it was yesterday.

I'm sad to say that I didn't purchase this game. Just can't afford it.
And, honestly, I was only introduced to the original Starcraft earlier this year. Still haven't quite beaten it. ;-)

So, how are my old friends, the Protoss?
Moreover, what's the story behind this game, Mumms? Blizzard usually is pretty good with lore/fluff/whatever.

With two kids, I haven't beaten the thing yet, like my friends have. But for the most part, I think it's Raynor trying to overthrown Mengsk. In case you didn't know, they split the single player campaign into three with one being released each year. So the full multiplayer is there, but the single player campaign is all Terrans. I don't know whether Zerg or Protoss comes next. But I think they just decided to make three full price releases rather than release "Expansions" later on. But so far, it doesn't seem like they skimped much.

I'm busy having late-night fight-nights with my friends. Just as fun as the first one, if a little smoother. Honestly, though, it's the same game with tweaks, which is fine. You don't completely overhaul a game that people are still playing constantly a decade after it's been released.
Real random multiplayer still kicks my ass, though. I win about half the games, but the ones I lose, I lose embarrassingly.
Anyone else play? PM me your ID, and we can BATTLE! heh
