With the news of the new Manos Special edition dvd from Shout word has been abuzz over other possible re-released episodes with extraspecial features. The question I pose is, Which Rhino episodes are most deserving of Special re-release?
The ones that seem to come up the most are... Mitchell Santa Claus Conquers the Martians Pod People.
Which ones do you want?

Sanat Claus Conqueres The martians. A holiday episode is always special, and let's face it Rhino didn't add anything "special" to their releases. Well, except double dip that is.

I'd love a 2-disc set of Mitchell and The Brain That Wouldn't Die that delved into the Joel to Mike transition.
I think a few really essential epps like Pod People and Monster A-Go Go deserve the treatment as well.

Here are some episodes I think deserve a special edition re-release.
Eegah!- I would love for Shout to interview Arch Hall Jr and Richard Kiel about the movie. Thankfully both are still alive and kicking.
Mitchell The Brain That Wouldn't Die - Joel's final ep and Mike's first are no brainers, Mitchell is a classic and Brain is pretty good. I like angilasman's idea of these two eps in a 2 disk set.
Pod People Cave Dwellers Monster A Go-Go Hobgoblins Space Mutiny Girl in Gold Boots I Accuse My Parents
- Any of those would be a weclome return. I'm sure Rick Sloane would be more than happy to be interviewed for a Hobgoblins re-release.

Pod People. Especially if it included the movie unMiSTed. Also, with the missing few seconds restored. It sticks in my craw, still.

Naturally I think every episode does just so i can get the posters.
But if I had to choose 10
Cave Dwellers Pod People Santa Conquers the Martians Monster A go go (what would that look like?) Eegah Mitchell Brain That wouldn't die Red Zone Cuba Space Mutiny Time Chasers

I could see SANTA CLAUS CONQUERS THE MARTIANS being a "special edition" episode, maybe a double feature of MITCHELL and THE BRAIN THAT WOULDN'T DIE.

I like the idea of "transition" episodes being special released: Joel's last, Mike's first, Trace's last, Frank's last, Pearl-as-ruler's first, etc.
Plus Monster a Go Go.
What's on the Shout! version of Manos? I already have the Rhino 2 pack--will there be interviews and other enticements?

I Accuse My Parents, so we can see the last of the missing MSTHour segments. Plus it being one that Joel pointed too as a personal favorite, they could add interviews or an intro as an extra with him.

I can kinda understand showing the original movie with Manos because it's so legendary, but I think the 2-disc format, if Shout! would continue it, would be better served with two episodes.

Pod People seems like a heck of a good suggestion to me. And I'm glad they're releasing Hotel Torgo with the Manos special edition. It's not great, but it's more than I thought I'd ever see on the making of MTHOF.
