Brodie Bruce was a philosipher. Back when Jason Lee threatened to be irritating. But did his character talk about that in the movie? I wonder if Kevin Smith took the idea from Niven or if it's just obvious.

I wonder if Kevin Smith took the idea from Niven or if it's just obvious. Yeah he had this entire speech about how no mortal woman could survive Superman's ejaculation without the aid of a kryptonite condom (and that would kill him). He continued that only Wonder Woman's uterus would last against him. As to which came first (...heh...), not sure. Mallrats came out in 1995, that's all I can tell you for sure.
