QUEST OF THE DELTA KNIGHTS Good Thing: Two, two, two David Warners in one movie! Bad Thing: Corbin Allred (Travis) is a actor in the style of Justin Bieber: teenagers who actually look like fey pre-teens with little talent and who are blissfully unaware of their own limitations, namely the inability to muster up the full range of emotions that the material requires. Bieber is the devil, I tells ya, the devil! Daaaaaahhhhh!

I'd like to thank everybody who lost, you all gave us some wild entries and I got the belly laughs I was expecting. But there was one entry that stood out to me. And every time I read it it makes me laugh harder. HAMLET Good Thing The fact that the movie downplayed the potential Oedipal subtext between Hamlet and his mom - ew. Bad Thing The railings on the set were vastly underused. With a body count like Hamlet has, there should have been at least one railing kill. Congratulations to KyrieEleison AKA It Should Have Been Me! (relax girl, it WAS you this time!) I will be sending a PM to skyroniter to confirm you as the winning entry. Contact him whenever you're ready to claim your prize. Thanks for playing everyone!

Congratulations KE; all that shakespeare paid off! But shall we wear these glories for a day, or shall they last, and we rejoice in them? Think now what I would say.

Bieber is the devil, I tells ya, the devil! Daaaaaahhhhh! Congratulations on winning! Amusingly enough, I'll essentially reverse what you're saying about Quest of the Delta Knights here. I found David Warner to be unbearably smarmy and irritating in his dual role, and since he had that dual role, I held him more responsible for the appalling tone of the movie than I would an ordinary performer. It was as if every stupid element of the film had his stamp of approval. And while Tee elicited quite a few "OH COME ON"s the first time I saw the movie, repeat viewings have turned my initial irritation into giddy amusement. I think it's hilarious how they had this horribly miscast wimpy small boy playing the part of an action hero, a wise man, a leader of men and sexually attractive to women. The scene in the brothel where Miss Boob-Overflow propositioned him was especially a scream. So just the movie's audacity of having this kid as their hero was one of its most amusing attributes. Excuse my faulty parallelism in the previous paragraph, please.

Thank you, everybody. I just got back from a few days in Disneyland, and this is great news to come home to!
To explain my David Warner line, I also think that he kind of phoned in his roles in Delta Knights, though I think that just adds to the badness of the movie. (He could have played up the camp angle with Vultare more, instead of somewhere in the nebulousness between straight and camp that he did.)
In fact, ever since I found out David Warner was also The Lobe in "Freakazoid" I've liked him more. (Having seen him recently in Titanic in a relatively straight role is kind of weird.) So twice the David Warner in Delta Knights was actually a positive for me.

David Warner will always be the Professor from Ninja Turtles II, to me.
He was great as Ras Al Ghul in Batman TAS also.
