Just noticed this recently in "The Day the Earth Froze" - during the Circus short, when the horses come out, the announcer on the short refers to the as "Pamilino's". They're "Palimino's", but Joel and the bots don't catch it.

Giant Gila Monster - Even though I've seen this episode, what, a million times? I just noticed last night during the "act like your favourite drunk" sketch that when 'drunken' Gypsy (and her creepy arms) kisses Joel, it actually leaves a big lipstick mark on his face.
Everyone take the knee-up position and think about that, won't you?

Was reminded of this the other day.
In Future War, there was the final moment where we see the Tool has joined a Counseling and Rehab Center, in a new entry in Our Lady of Perpetual Irritation's scrapbook. The entry was a beautifully absurd newspaper article, with a picture of The Tool undoubtedly taken from one of his fistfights, where his face has been battered and bloodied, with the article title being "Rehab Center Scores New Counselor".
Now, what Mike and the Bots' giggling was referencing was obviously vague because of just how much was ridiculous about this moment, I think they may have missed how horrifically inappropriate the word "Scores" was in this context. They did mention how ridiculous the picture was, and Mike said "Score!" but that seemed to me to be more likely a reference to a generic sports commentator exclamation, rather than, you know, using drug lingo in order to describe the action of a rehab center that deals with drug addiction.
Not to blame them if they did indeed miss it. It was just that ridiculous a moment that there's no way they could've mentioned everything wrong with it in the time allotted.

Catching up with a classic today, "I Accuse My Parents".
When Jimmy is on the lam, he eventually ends up outside of Al's Cafe. If you listen closely, you can hear Tom Servo humming a song. What's he's humming is the Suzanne Vega song, "Tom's Diner". It's subtle enough that it's easy to miss, but it fits the scene nicely and even ties Tom himself into the hum-riff, which I thought was nice.
