Yeah, that Al Molinaro is a real doll, ain't he? Me an' Jimmy saw 'im just the other day, I says just the other day, arm wrestling with Sinatra and bless his heart he's lettin' the big shot win. Not too easily, though, he made Sinatra work for it, he did.
Goodnight, Mrs. Calabash. ...wherever you are.

Yes, but he only accepts payment in the form of human ears. Actually It's a pound of hobbit blood.

That's what they want you to think. In the meantime, the hobbit army is getting ready for world domination!!!!

I still like the Christmas Special better, but "It's Al Molinaro Week, Charlie Brown" is definitely my second-favorite.

I found the part where Al Molinaro breaks through a brick wall, startling Charlie Brown before teaching him about the power of self confidence the Al Molinaro way, was a bit disconcerting. But...yeah, apart from that, I agree with you, second favorite.

Well, "Of all the Al Molinaros in the world, you're the Al Molinaroist" doesn't quite have the punch that the original line did. But still, Charlie learned a great lesson about the power of believing in yourself.

What about the part where Charlie Brown says, "I just don't get President's Day." And then Al Molinaro says he can explain it and is suddenly standing on stage at Millenium Park on a cold midwinter midnight with a single ghostly spotlight shining on him and his voice all echo-y and starts quoting Leviticus for like 17 minutes straight. It was so moving.

Screw all of you posers. If you really wanted to respect Al you'd have his face tattooed on your glans like REAL men.

It was so moving. I actually thought that went on for a bit. I mean, even with Al Molinaro's endorsement and the really weird dance-off between Snoopy and Schroeder in the background, I think they could've skipped a few verses here and there.

Incidentally: did you know that if Mt. Rushmore had been bigger, they would've altered it in the 80s to have Al Molinaro on it?
