Check under weekend lineup.Someone pointed me in the direction of something called Toonami Aftermath, which seems to be playing MST and RiffTrax on weekends. Can anybody confirm just what this is? I don't have television at the moment.

I believe this is an internet channel not a television channel.

Interestin. It's better than nothing I suppose. And it'll introduce the show to new people. Has anybody watched it through it yet?

Toonami Aftermath is an internet channel dedicated to the golden days of Cartoon Network. On weekends (late at night), they air a rifftrax and later an MST3K. Its free to watch, but you will need a ustream acount to chat on the stream. I believe tonight's MST3K is 524, but I cant be sure.
Thats all I got.

This little bit is pretty thunderous news actually considering a new window has been opened to a different crowd.

It's nice that you can see Rifftrax and MST3K online. Kinda inconvenient that you have to stay up late to do so. I prefer my MST3K streaming to be 24/7, which is why I use GroovyVid on ShoutcastTV through the Winamp media player. Apparently you can use IE on this page, but it always crashes my browser. Haven't really troubleshooted much to see why since I prefer the Winamp approach.

I wouldn't get your hopes high. I've watched a few shows on there and I get the impression that they air videos which you can easily download from other sites.

Not a horrible business plan. Either way, it's a step in the right direction.

You can say the same thing about any MST streaming site. At the end you invariably see the DAP logo. I just like the fact that it's random, I never know what ep is airing when I fire up the player. If I'm not in the mood for it, I move on. PQ is acceptable too. And yes I'm aware of dl'ing MST eps. I started nearly a decade ago. Some of us just like using all the options available.

I'll be honest: I'm always a bit leery of looking for streaming entertainment online. Even if it's something that I can be relatively certain won't involve piracy on my part to view, a part of me worries that there'll be odd effects on my computer because of it.
But then again, I've always been a worrier. Don't mind me.

is this for free? or you need subscription? Entirely free; the group doesn't work for profit, just the enjoyment of fans.
