Since we've already done men and women, the only thing left are robot sidekicks and pets, so I figured I'd start with our furry (and not-so furry) friends.
Ummm.....
Actually, this is kind of a stumper, because outside of the two dogs from Manos, no animal familiars come immediately to mind.
I'd be willing to bet that there had to have been a few MST3K movies where the animals, good or evil, were infinitely preferable to the human beings we were supposed to be rooting for.
Again, Manos, heh.

Nummy Muffin Coocol Butter!
Kenny had Tibby.. and I guess Gamera too.
Tommy (the "Pod People" kid) had tons of pets too... plus Trumpy.
Then there was that police chief (Harvey B. Dunn, who was in several movies MST3k did) with a bird.
Nastinka had a dog. The witch had a cat, snake and pig.
Oh and let's not forget Lassie in "The Painted Hills"!

I'm with Crow and Servo on this one, Nummy Muffin Coocol Butter should have been stuffed into an airlock.
We're forgetting Timothy van Patten's pet gerbil (or whatever it was) from Master Ninja. Also Ron Howard's dog in Village of the Giants.

Phil in DADDY-O very briefly (opening scene) had a cute fuzzy little mutt (probably some sort of work dog).
Rowsdower had Troy....JUST KIDDING!

Early Cameo (and looking quite surprisingly cute) Clint Eastwood had a rat in his pocket (and he's happy to see you). Can't remember the movie...was it the giant grasshopper one or the Gill-Man one?
Well, lab critters wouldn't actually be pets...more like "furry lab equipment"...but the scene was cute....
I've never been into Clint Eastwood but I confess the younger version in this movie was a cutie! Loved the hair! Almost "Agent-J Joel"- like.
But this is about our furry, feathery, scaly, slimy & robotic friends...

Sparkles the dog and Charlotte the goldfish from Merlin's Shop...
...both met unfortunate deaths due to a fake monkey.

Oh, I forgot about Paul's lizard in Track of the Moon Beast, the one that freaked out his eight-hour-girlfriend so much.
I guess I'm not addressing the real question, though, which is, what MST3K movie pet is the most appealing? I'm gonna go with the Master's dog, who is supposed to be fearsome but actually looks rather endearing and cute.

There were cats in one of the moon movies--the one with the international crew and where the moon had an atmosphere and inhabitants. I think that one also had a little cocker spaniel. Humphrey!
Oh, and the old lady in The Atomic Brain had a cat--and she ended up very close to it.
Anita, if I call the fire department again they'll start laughing!
