My preorder still hasn't shipped yet. Curse you canadian amazon! My pre-order hasn't shipped yet either. An order that I placed back in December as soon as it became available I might add.. So curse you American Amazon

Yeah, I placed my order on December 28th. I complained to them, and said they were on back order, and the company wasn't sure when they would have more.
LAME
On the bright side, they're updating my shipping class. So, at least, that's something

Still nothing from Amazon (and its part of a larger order, part of which has been sent. So if I cancell it, I'd get charged shipping since my total would drop bellow $25)
I think from now on I'll just wait. See if anyone else has sales (like B&N above) or just buy it off the shelf at Best Buy. Amazon? Seems rather stupid that you wouldn't have enough in stock to cover your pre-orders at least. (I mean, you did have an idea of how many copies you'd need to at least fill those orders, right?) Back orders on pre-orders is not cool.

My order just shipped from Amazon. Which can be expected with free shipping if you read the fine print. But this is the first time that it has taken this long. Oh well, I am not someone that needs the box sets the day it's released. I will get it this week sometime.

What I got from Amazon.ca today, (and I pre-ordered in December) "Hello from Amazon.ca. I apologize for any inconvenience caused. The item "Mystery Science Theater 3000 X" has been proven to be a very popular item and has become a surprise sellout. When you placed your order, we believed we had access to more copies. However, all of our suppliers have rapidly sold out of this item. We have many customer orders for this item and we're waiting for more copies from our suppliers. We are filling orders as quickly as we can on a first-come, first-served basis. Major distributors have thousands of copies on order from the publisher, awaiting the next print run. As soon as more copies become available, we'll be able to fulfill outstanding orders. Meanwhile, I can assure you that we are working hard to obtain this item for you and we will ship it as soon as we are able to obtain it. This means that we will ship the item as soon as we receive it from our suppliers even if the estimated ship date has still not arrived." Unbelievable

Yeah, I only got the reply because I sent them an e-mail asking where my stuff is. I think when Amazon.ca, mistakenly or not, put a pre-order price of 25 bucks on Vol. 26, EVERYONE, including me, jumped on it. They must have known well ahead of time the needed a lot of product and they blew it.

I saw Magic Sword just last year, for the first time since its original airing, and was somehow disappointed despite it having all the ingredients necessary for a great MST3K episode -- cheesy sword'n'sorcery plot, and Basil Rathbone -- so it never made my main rotation. I suppose I should give it another shot.
I only saw Alien From L.A. when it was first aired, so I really don't remember much. I suppose I ought to watch it again just to see if Kathy Ireland really was as rock-stupid as I remember from her appearance on Dave Letterman.
Ahh, yeah. Danger, Death Ray. Besides being a solid scream of an episode, it was interesting seeing Gordon Scott in a role other than Tarzan. A personal all-timer. I'm still scouring YouTube in hopes of finding a copy of that friggin' bop-ah dop-ah dah dah theme "in the clear".
The Mole People was one of those episodes I didn't like that much when it first aired, despite it having the pompous, wooden John Agar, rock-climbing veteran Hugh Beaumont, and a pre-Batman Alan Napier. I watched it a couple of times recently and threw it into the backup pile, then pulled it out again and gave it another chance a few months later and ended up totally digging it. There's a whole lot of spelunking in this one -- and, as we all know, spelunking is the same thing as rock climbing except it's done in a cave, and instead of going up a mountainside, you're going downnn, downnn, downnnn...
