Founder of Filmation, the company that made those stiff-looking cartoons in the 1970s and 80s. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for the animated Star Trek series they did. I remember watching it on Nickelodeon, I believe. LA Times obituaryAnd as a quote from that article, you gotta love a company that apparently came up with this: "There were also misses. In 1975 Filmation produced 'Uncle Croc's Block,' which featured live sequences with Charles Nelson Reilly dressed in a crocodile suit. It lasted less than a season." Just the thought of that is making me smile right now Rest well, sir.

Just the thought of that is making me smile right now Apparently, CNR absolutely loathed everything about that show (which is one of those things that will stay in Scheimer's personal archive until the current Filmation rights holders get their crap together and commission new restorations)....except the camera man (who was not inclined to return Reilly's interest, and instead got more and more nervous as shooting continued).
