I HATE IT when people correct my spelling on a board. Freaking get a life and deal with it!!!! I type quick and I don't feel like running it through a checker every time. And it's not like every single word is wrong.
Saying that... when I'm working on a review I agonize over every detail. I know there are times when I'm simply not getting the grammar, sentence structure or spelling right and I bust my ass and pester my wife to help with the editing and implore anyone here. You see a mistake at Mighty Jack's, let me know.
But when I'm posting on the board, don't do it, slowly step away and don't rile the sleeping tiger.

Here are a couple of weird things that bug me. I've seen/heard them a lot lately, even in nationally-published magazines and books, and in newspaper columns by otherwise intelligent people:
People writing "flare" when they mean "flair." People writing "grizzly" when they mean "grisly." People who say "supposably" instead of "supposedly."
I'll admit to being a rather anal-retentive spelling/grammar Nazi, but I generally refrain from correcting people's mistakes to their faces. I just seethe about them silently.

Some people say i-deer instead of i-dee-uh. Just saying. My mom says "soder" rather than "soda". I do too, but whatever.

A guy I work with can't pronounce the letter "S" in the middle of words.
He always pronounces it as a "Z".
"We need to get together and have a converzation."
Grrrr. Annoying to no end.

I sometimes have trouble correctly and clearly pronoucing my R's. Example:
"You all right?" Will come out: "You all rwight?" or: "You all wight?"
I have adjusted this in recent years, but anyway, let us get back to the topic.

I write how I talk, I never write because cause I never say it, specialy when it's a chat sorta thing like this. To me it's a casual conversation so I write like I'm just talking to some people. Course when I write a report, I write like it's some formal dinner I have no clue who the people are and must seem extremely intellegent.

I had a speech problem when I was younger, I couldn't form sentences right. Still, today I have trouble talking in a group, organizing all my ideas so it comes out right.

You know I have the same problem in spanish I can think out a sentence in spanish perfectly but when I start to speak my mind panics and I sorta stutter out everything and such, getting better though
