Okay, there are an increasing number of spelling and grammatical mistakes on this board.
And with them, an increasing number of spelling and grammar pedants.
So what are your pet peeves about this crazy little language we share?
Some of mine are:
When people put a "t" at the end of the word "across".
When people write "loose" when they mean "lose".
When people use the word "literally" for something they don't mean literally. For example, "I was literally on fire I was so angry."

I don't give a rat's ass about grammer. The only kind of spelling that bothers me on message boards is when "ppl typ lk ths u c?" Indeed, that gets very irritating. And by using correct grammar and punctuation, you look and feel smarter than others, and when you look and feel smart, you are superior. Huzzah!

Read 90% of my posts. They are all correcting English. You crack me up nightfalcawk. You need to check your own backyard. You corrected me on the Rick Sloan board with this: I beleive you mean "You're twelve. You're not a chick yet." All you were correcting is that I said "12" instead of "twelve." And you misspelled believe. You are an endless source of amusement to me.

Yes, but you spelled "you're" "your". We're even.

Yes, but you spelled "you're" "your". We're even. Not quite. I never proclaimed myself "king of spelling." And I could go back and change it nightfalcawk style but I won't. The amusement continues.
