I wouldnt have expected Marooned / Space Travelers - so Sony is in play now I guessed Radar Secret Service right , SF Intl and Hercules were certainly going to come sooner than later, and here they are

They pulled it down - I bet it went up early by mistake. I would have bet money they were going to unveil it during the Turkey Day marathon!

Unfortunately dry set. Space Travellers and San Francisco International are not favorites to say the least. Hercules is a classic and my favorite short is on Radar Secret Service (and the feature is pretty decent too). Joel half of the fifth season will be complete, so that's worth celebrating.

Yeah, not a set I'm thrilled about but at the same time, someone worked really hard to clear these titles so I can't really complain.

So now that we know that Shout Factory can release films that Sony has the rights to, this means that Teenage Crimewave and 12 to the Moon are more likely to get a release.

Well, Space Travelers was a bit of a surprise. Can't say any of these are all-time faves, but as usual I'm happy to have the official releases. SF International is probably the best one on the set, but I'm not as in love with it the way some others are. Space Travelers and Hercules are middling installments...not bad, but nothing great. I think I've only watched Radar Secret Service a couple times and find it tough to get through. Still, TAKE MY MONEY!!

I imagine there is going to be some Space Travelers/Marooned ballyhoo feature that will have Joe Dante ranting about how much MST3K sucks for riffing it.

I think Joe Dante likes the show, he just thought the edit used for This Island Earth was a misrepresentation of the film.

He liked the show, then they did Space Travelers and was P.O.ed that they riffed a "Good" movie. He also said the show was "Dreaded" in one of his Trailers from Hell commentaries.

When did he state this? I've never heard anything about that.

Dennis Miller also thought the show jumped the shark when they did Space Travelers.

Did Dennis Miller happen to mention when HE jumped the shark?

When did he state this? I've never heard anything about that. Kevin Murphy talked about it at a Dragon Con 02 or 03 panel and I believe the "Dreaded" comment is on his commentary for Teenagers from Outer Space Trailer.
