This really hit me hard. I grew up with Aladdin and Mrs. Doubtfire, and Happy Feet was a recent favorite of mine.
Huge bummer.

Wow, what a shocker. I remember first seeing him on Mork and Mindy and then hearing his comedy album in the late 70s. I thought he was freakin' hilarious. How sad it ended this way.

I wish it was a hoax. Apparently he had been battling depression for some time. I watched "Mork and Mindy" when I was a kid, he was great in that. I think I'll watch "Good Morning, Viet Nam" tonight.
Please, if you're depressed, get help. Depression doesn't care if you are famous, or just the average Joe. Anyone can suffer from depression....
RIP, Robin.

The world is a little less funny because we lost a clown today. But it's a LOT less funny because he chose to end his own life himself. What a bitter end to a towering legacy.

I'm hoping that Robins Williams legacy will be both his immense talent and that people finally start to understand that mental illness is a real illness. You just can't wish mental illness away. Too soon gone.
RIP

By coincidence, HBO happened to be running MST3K: The Movie, which I watched. The "Nanoo, Nanoo" riffs felt somewhat poignant....

This is really sad. I've always greatly admired this guy and all the wonderful funny things he did, he will be missed.

This truly came out of nowhere. Today, we lost one of the best comedic minds. RIP Robin Williams.
