Movie they did. Every other one, Deathstalker 3 or Cave Dwellers had attempts, however hamfisted or halfassed, of trying to make something cool. Ator flying into the castle, the batman hideout, Deathstalker's undead minions, but Quest of the Delta Knights has just a cool title. The movie has NO cool moments, it's just talking ll the time… which i guess is still rather OK for that if you're into a talky swords and sorcery flick.

Gotta disagree. I like Quest better than Cave Dwellers. And I don't think real highly of Deathstalker either.

I couldn't agree more. I just watched Deathstalker this afternoon after not having watched it in a while, and was reminded of why it became an instant favorite for me. It tried hard to make stuff cool, and failed spectacularly -- and that's why it's awesome.
Same with Cavé Dwellers -- you can also tell they're trying to "cool up" stuff and it falls flat -- the invisible enemy in the cave, the silly mirror-plated shield, the proposterous hang-gliding scene. Damn, what an excellent flick -- precisely because it's so damned bad.
By contrast, Delta Knights just bored the crap out of me, because it always gets to a point where something's got to happen -- and nothing happens. Not even the brilliant theater sequence with Pearl riffing alongside the Bots can save it.

Honestly, I like all three of the films being discussed more than I liked Outlaw. Outlaw just felt dull to me. And... I can't even remember what the plot was about after the big "I'm back!" scene.
Deathstalker, Cave Dwellers and Delta Knights, though, I at least enjoyed from time to time.
Also, it's not really indicative of the quality of the film, but when I went to a Board meet-up at a pub in/near Chicago a few years back and realized I had no idea what anyone looked like, it was handy to be able to rely on Delta Knights by walking up to people and saying "It'll be a nice day if it doesn't rain."

Oh, wow, yeah... I'd totally forgotten about Outlaw. Man, what a turd. All I can remember of that one is that the hero was a stereotypical feathered hairstyle-wearing, Camaro-driving '80s barfly, his sidekick made me want to knee him in the groin and snag on him and give him a power sit-up, the all-female battle scenes were even worse than Racket Girls, and Jack Palance wore a really goofy hat -- other than that, just that it was really slow, boring, turgid, and was obviously aimed at 13 year-old boys, what with all the scantily-clad babes with big fluffy hair. That Cabot dude was a thoroughly annoying, unlikeable "hero" who ranked right up there with Deathstalker and Paper Chase Guy. God, am I ever glad the '80s are over.

Delta Knights may be my least favorite of the swords and sorcery films, but I think it is still a funny episode. I'd take it over Space Travelers any day.
