Yeah, I saw that earlier. It was a fun little surprise. Lots of people from Channel Awesome reference the show, but NC doesn't do it as often as the others.

The Nostalgia Critic, sometimes called That Guy With The Glasses, or Doug Walker. He's a Chicago area comedian (woo!) who "remembers it so you don't have to." He's had some non Nostalgia Critic characters, but that's definitely his most well known one. (His first viral video was just of him quitting his job, and bringing a marching band to play him out the moment he handed in his notice.)

(His first viral video was just of him quitting his job, and bringing a marching band to play him out the moment he handed in his notice.) It was actually a CD of the theme to 2001: A Space Odyssey and the hard-rock portion of "Bohemian Rhapsody" but still absurdly awesome! Apparently, according to a few panels and the commentary, he didn't even have the notice: in the video, he just wrote I QUIT on his chest and ran around the building blaring his music until they got chased out by security. He was even interviewed by 20/20 for a segment about people who virally quit their jobs.I did a MSTieCast video interview last May with him and his at MomoCon, and they're huge fans. Granted, I think Doug especially likes a lot of stuff more, but it always fun to see when he shows his love for it on Nostalgia Critic.

I must be thinking of an entirely different video and just assumed it was the same one, then. I should go look it up and brush up on my Net Lore.
