Anyone but me notice that the January re-showing of "The Room" cost a LOT more than previous shows? In NJ they used to cost $12.00 but the re-broadcast of "The Room" went for $18.00.
I paid it, and I laughed a lot (the second time as good as the first), but I was a bit irked by the increase.

I just paid my regular ticket price, so that might have been gouging on the part of your particular theater?

I paid the same $12. I'm guessing that your theater may be gouging you. I took a friend to the rebroadcast; I normally do the Live Shows. I'm wondering if this happened to anyone two weeks ago when they did the rebroadcast of Starship Troopers.

Typically late next month or in March.
I bet they announce them all at once again, especially if they're planning some 10th anniversary shenanigans.

I'm wondering if this happened to anyone two weeks ago when they did the rebroadcast of Starship Troopers. We went to Starship Troopers, and it was $12, The Room was $12 also. Our theater used to charge $11, but they got swanky new leather recliner loungers, so they had to up the price to pay for the comfort!

Well, my friend and I contacted the manager of the theater, and he explained that the price was incorrectly posted. He offered us 5.50 each in cash, or a free movie pass for each of us. We chose the latter. Another mystery solved!
