Also can anyone confirm if they fixed the corrupted section of Pod People? Really hoping they took care of that. The picture on Pod People is probably the biggest fault with the set but they at least tried to patch up that one spot (the thing that bugs me in particular is that they also left out the last commercial break bumper despite leaving all the others in, although I have an idea why they cut it. I mostly got this just for Angels Revenge since it has unique bumpers that are missing on the Rhino edition). What was the reason they left off that? Is it seen on the VHS copy? I'll now have to look at it sometime.

In the full episode, they show the same part of the movie twice where Tommy and Trumpy leave the house before and after the bumper (we even hear two different takes of Joel saying "John Bonham, Moby Dick"). I guess Shout! didn't think it was necessary to leave both takes in so they cut the bumper and showed just one of the takes. As far as I know it's not on the VHS either (the Rhino DVD cuts this out too along with three other bumpers). You can see the completely uncut version on Shout's own streaming service to see what I mean (start around 1:25:40 in): www.shoutfactorytv.com/mystery-science-theater-3000/mst3k-pod-people/550afe3469702d3fab381a19

Okay I see what you mean. So they basically cut off a riff, thinking they just backed it up too far.
