I'm pretty sure Hangar 18 was theatrical. Correct me if I'm wrong.... You're probably right. Maybe it's just Gary Collins who gives it that made-for-TV feel. Yes, Hangar 18 did hit the big screen.

Girl in Lover's Lane is a very good movie, I think. Tight, good characters, actual movement of plot, actors who sound like they understand what lines and blocking are. Tormented is another one. The effects are low budget, sure, but the actual moral ambiguity of Tom's actions (did he wait that half second too long on purpose? Or not?) make it more interesting then if he had either shoved Vi or blatantly tried to rescue her but couldn't.
If this movie is wrong, I don't wanna be right!

Girl in Lover's Lane has crappy elements, but it's competent enough to work well to the point that it has a character death that's actually somewhat effective. Tormented is a cheesy good watch too. At the very least I find both movies more interesting than Diabolik, which is a well made movie about an asshole and how he can get away with being a dick to everyone (except his sex toy sidekick).

If I had to pick 'good' bad... I have a soft spot for I Accuse My Parents. I actually like it, it's clearly trying WAY too hard, but it's actually not a bad movie for what it is. I Was A Teenage Werewolf is also pretty good for what it is, just again a movie taking itself a bit too seriously, especially the end.

I have a real soft spot for 70s disaster flicks and Doug McClure movies so SST: Death Flight is pretty much right up my alley.
Hangar 18 is pretty cool too because it answers the question "what if Carl Kolchak got a job at NASA?"

I like The Final Sacrifice a lot, it actually tells a decent story, and Rowsdower is memorable character. I also like The Deadly Mantis and Beginning of The End. I have a soft spot for James Bond knock-offs so I like Danger Death Ray, Secret Agent Super Dragon, and Agent From H.A.R.M.

I think that "First Spaceship to Venus" was actually a very well-intentioned effort, with a decent budget for its time. Its message of international cooperation was certainly unusual for its day (or any day, really).
But I still prefer "Overdrawn at the Memory Bank" for its abundance of ideas.

I also thought that The Beatniks was a pretty good caper movie and Catalina Caper while no masterpiece is no worse than a lower tier Elvis or Gidget film. I liked the Del-Aires I enjoyed the cheesiness of The Horror of Party Beach, and Deathstalker is a cheesy but enjoyable fantasy film.
