On a side note, while I WAS pretty irritated that an August 1994 recording upload of “The Unearthly” from Sketch the Cow On Internet Archive had a good portion of the commercials edited (yeah, this just seems to be an inconsistent annoying pattern with his/her uploads), I WAS happy to find the “Saturday” variant of the “Skydivers” promo in that recording fully intact and gave it a double-upload with the “next” variant! youtu.be/HUFrtraXK6M?si=M8YI8oDJGYXfzRBiAnd as mentioned on the last page, I updated the “In space, no one can hear you scream” bumper with a just-found “tomorrow” variant.

Well, I was surprised to see this little gag bumper from Comedy Central on Sketch the Cow’s upload of an August 1994 airing of “Magic Voyage of Sinbad:” youtu.be/RvxY4kYKlug?si=8dRO4tb-WvK53OhKYeah, I did a little more research on this woman and….. boy, she had quite the history going on; I can see why Comedy Central wanted to take a stab at her, lol. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shannon_FaulknerAnd I thought Comedy Central was harsh on OJ (rightfully so), lol.

Took years for me, but after seeing this extra sugar gum commercial with Khrystyne Haji in many 1994 recordings, I think I’ve officially developed a new celeb crush on her. Don’t @ me. youtu.be/nFNr3NWrokE?si=Tsxn7_AD6v2LDNPW

Yeah, this really is just becoming another meme for me now. While I understand he obviously can’t get his hands on every single recording that still potentially exists, it does make me extremely grateful that Kolos’s uploads are much more consistent with full commercials (even at the risk his sources might have local ads masked over).

So this isn’t a movie I have ANY interest in checking out honestly, but this is something I feel the need to ask after seeing this particular TV spot for “Princess Caraboo” on a couple September 1994 recordings of MST episodes from Sketch the Cow on Internet Archive. Would anyone happen to know the name of this song (if it even is one) in this particular TV spot? I tried uploading it myself to see if YouTube would recognize a copyright match…… nothing. I would be surprised if this was just music made for the TV spot because this sounds MUCH more 80s than it does 90s. youtu.be/YdWDV9I65is?si=p1lihAC3qhLEvn6R

Okay..... did Kolos's Turkey Day recordings of "Zombie Nightmare" and "Manos" BOTH get blocked on YouTube? I was going on his IA to watch his pre-Penn Jillette 1991 recording of "Megalon" and saw those two on there..... that's a bit of a surprise for me.

They did, and then Manos got unblocked.

Yeah, I see what looks like every single upload of “Zombie Nightmare” that was once there isn’t there anymore in full, but that’s interesting reading about this company “Lasso Group”….. definitely sound like a shady company if they go out of their way to block an otherwise public domain movie that’s had god knows HOW many low budget bargain releases.
I know it’s a ways down the road but hopefully that small portion of “Zombie Nightmare” in my January 1995 recording of “Skydivers” you want to upload won’t end up blocking the entire episode….. but we’ll see.

It doesn’t have that toned-down second gen coloring so I’m guessing this one must have gotten A LOT of replay.

So I saw a December 1991 recording of “Robot Holocaust” (which looks to be the 1 AM airing with the mention of “Night After Night” in the end credits) on Sketch the Cow’s Internet Archive…… which basically was nothing more than a pointless 2nd gen recording (as all of his/her uploads are in that quality, and that’s fine-ish) where only certain parts of the episode were actually taped on this one….. yeah, that much of it survived. I can’t tell you how blood boiling that actually was for me because I get a big kick out of seeing season 1 episode rerun airings in the early Penn Jillette Comedy Central days with the limited 7 months those episodes had left, and why I’m grateful Mace Moreland in particular uploaded many of those in his collection (even if his uploads have horrible bright quality). Similarly there was a March 1992 recording of his/hers with the episode “The Crawling Hand” (appears to also be the night time showing) where all the commercials were completely removed. If only Mace had that one…… It’s instances like Sketch’s uploads in particular that honestly really just shows the carelessness with so many, if not all, Mst3k full commercial episode recording uploads that don’t otherwise come from Kolos. I mean this alone is another good example, and this one in particular bugs me because this is one of my all-time favorite Joel episodes from season 2 (a September 1992 recording of “Catalina Caper” to be exact) - a second gen recording with all the commercials removed…… and yet still called a “Broadcast Editions” upload. Riiiiiiiight…… youtu.be/q_tVLDROUUw?si=SzkaRnel8XRVVJCP
