Pretty big upset the Colts pulled off. I'm not much for Baltimore, so I'm happy they lost.

I think the Ravens are the most overrated team in the playoffs. They played a third place schedule this year and had a weak division. They weren't nearly as good as their record showed, and today proved it. What's surprising me is how Indy's defense has absolutely controlled both games so far.

SAINTS!!! I'm sorry they had to beat Philly though because I love them too. They showed a lot of guts this season, and if they use the same kind of system that they used with Garcia at QB, they should be a real force with McNabb throwing the ball next season.

Well, looks like the NFC Championship matchup for next week will be the Saints vs. the Bears. Everyone had been picking on Grossman the past few weeks, but he did a good job today. The one interception wasn't really his fault. The Bears D though doesn't look anywhere near as fearsome as they did earlier this season.

The Pats pull it out again. Now, since I never made my picks, I'll understand if nobody believes that I'm 7-1 so far (I picked the Ravens over the Colts). But, no matter, Brady vs. Manning yet again, should be a hell of a game.

That game was amazing....I heard that before the game if the Chargers lost, Marty Schottenheimer's job might be in jeopardy. We will see now...

I feel bad for Schottenheimer because he shouldn't take the fall for what happened. He can't catch the ball, fall on the ball, not fumble and not act like a jackass after the plays are well over. The Chargers flat out choked.

I agree with sweetdreamer's comments about Schottenheimer. For the most part.
He still blew the clock management at the end, his play calling was terrible in the last 10 minutes of the 4th quarter. He's still Schottenheimer, and he still can't win in January.
And the Patriots have become like the Yankees to me. I can't criticize them; they're well coached, they play team ball, they execute in key situations, and I really just wish they'd go away. (Sorry DW).

That last challenge was pretty questionable to take. Also, it looked to me like the last field goal was much more rushed than it could have been. I don't know, it just seemed to me that they could have "set" themselves more to get ready to play, maybe not, but I think that if they allowed themselves a few more seconds to set up the kick, they might have made it. I'd be pretty 50-50 if I put my picks in. But I'm still a Bears fan. Local boy, after all. And Grossman was decent, but the Bears' defense was a bit lacklaster as usual lately. Nice to break a decade+ playoff losing streak, tho.

The bottom line on the Pats is that, like them or hate them, they know how to win come playoff time. I wouldn't be surprised if they beat the Colts. I think the Colts do have a good chance to win because the game will be in Indy, and personally, Id like to see Peyton Manning get to the Super Bowl, but don't overlook the Pats, is all I'm saying.
