So I downloaded the Firefox update. I had hoped I could install it alongside the current version to compare but it just automatically updated the version I have. Now here's the pisser. When I'm on this board and click on a link I can't go back. When I try to close the link I get a message that says I'm about to close two windows. So I have to close them both and it closes down the whole browser. So I have to start it up all over. It's worse when I'm on my bank site. When I go to the Pay Bills section and want to go back I have to close down everything and then start over and re-enter my account number and password. I didn't have to do this with the previous version of Firefox. Damn it pisses me off when an "upgrade" makes things more difficult. Anyone else have this issue with Firefox?

I don't know. I just installed it and it did what it did. I'll check preferences.

*Easily scans the Internet and performs his banking information while checking email and watching YouTube videos, all while receiving the right popups, and having the wrong popups blocked*
Ah, so easy to use...

Nope. I use AOL. So easy to use... Wait...someone STILL uses AOL? I thought that was a fad of the 90's. Like scooters, furbies and Freddie Prinz Jr.

I've been using Firefox more and more. *knocks wood* No problems. Faster than IE7.

I'm sorry but, honestly, if someone is still using IE or AOL's browser, then they are just plain uninformed. Microsoft is going to have to do a hell of a lot, in order to win be back from Firefox. And even if someone doesn't like Firefox, there's still Opera and whatever other "indie" browsers are out there.

All I know is that I have a tough-to-trace IP adderss that runs fast on AOL, and everytime I give Firefox a chance it runs Sooooooo Sloooooow on my computer. Besides, I just can't ever get used to the Tabs that Firefox implements along with extra windows.

And now Netscape does it, too.

Bah. Netscape's the slowest of the bunch. I'd rather try Firefox.
