Has anyone else has had very unusual weather this year. Were I live in Maine we had 60 degree weather in January, no real snow fall until February. This month alone we have had two snow storms of 12 plus inches and tonight a northeaster is coming in. Expected anywhere from 6 to 15 inches with 40 mile an hour winds and heavy rains after. I have never seen this in April before here.

here in the Chicago area, we've had snow, which is rather unusual for April, but I don't think it's unheard of.

Pretty much as you described it, Broadsword. I live in Columbus Ohio. It was warm in January, cold and very snowy in February, March was pretty mild, and April has been very cold with frequent snow. It's not snowing today, but it's very cold. All my flowers are shriveled and wilted, yet I need to cut my grass.

I live in Florida, there's no such thing as "strange weather". I_S, you know perfectly well that strange weather isn't related to Bush... Cheney is the one with the weather machine.

If you scroll down, on the right, you'll see the Old Farmer's Almanac Webcam. At the present writing, it looks great for cross country skiing. www.almanac.com/

We just got slammed here today after five p.m. with a bunch of snow. It's about three in the morning now, and we've already gotten a few inches of wet, and incredibly windy snow.

March was the warmest on record. But we got winter back last week. It was totally frickin' sweet! Blame La Niña!

It's God's weather and he'll do as he damn well pleases. Ask any farmer.

This all comes around the same time that scientists find that weirdly shaped weather pattern on Saturn (was it Saturn? Can't remember.)
Coincidence?!

It's almost 80 here today. Last week we had to cover the plants to protect them from frost.
It's common sense that it's not normal, not politics.

What was predicted to be snow turned all rain. In fact it flooded the street were I manage a store. Now it's snowing out, don't know what is going on.

I'm getting a lot of wind over here on the East Coast of the US. Not terribly unusual, but we got snow earlier this month. That NEVER happens in this area. The weather is really getting weird, I wonder what's going on.

We've just had about 36 straight hours of rain here in New York. My basement flooded for the first time in years, and my back yard was almost completely under water. I've had my fill of cold, damp weather.
