It's easy to discuss which movies were the worst ones featured on MST3K. Names like Manos, Monster A-Go-Go, Red Zone Cuba, and Eegah always creep up, but what do you think are the best movies featured on the show? What movies would you admit to kind of enjoying?
My top 10 list (not including This Island Earth) would be:
The Magic Sword Bloodlust The Brute Man Teenagers from Outer Space Time Chasers Jack Frost The Sword and the Dragon The Rebel Set Tormented The Fugitive Alien Series

I don't have 10 eps that I can think of, but Terror From The Year 5000 isn't that bad. Also, the Fugitive Alien eps are kinda fun to watch on their own, despite being totally cheesy.

It always seemed to me that a few of the season openers were made easier for newcomers. Rocketship X-M which opened season 2 wasn't bad, Marooned (aka Space Travelers) wasn't bad either, and Revenge of the Creature wasn't one of my favorite but many other did like it which opened season 8.

Actually, I thought that Leech Woman was pretty good. The storyline was interesting and the acting wasn't half bad. I also liked I was a Teenage Werewolf, Mole People and Revenge of the Creature (yea, I'm a sucker for John Agar;)) BTW, I had the opportunity to meet the actor Kenny Miller, (Vic in Teenage Werewolf) recently. He's just the cutest little old guy! He told me that the reason the "Eeny, Meeny, Miney, Mo" song sounds off-kilter is because he had to sing it without any music. Apparently, it was too expensive to record the scene with music. At the time, he said, it would have cost $150.00! The music was added afterwards and that's why it is out of sync.

I can't believe I'm saying this about a Bert I. Gordon film, but I liked Tormented.
I also enjoyed the Master Ninja eps for what they were. It took me back to the era of bad 80's action TV.
The Thing That Couldn't Die was an interesting premise, with characters that almost seemed thought-out.
And I have to agree with TV's Frank's comments in The Amazing Colossal Episode Guide that Stranded in Space is one of the overlooked gems of the series. Sure it was droll and dull, but it was a decent plot. In Frank's words, "It was dazzling in its mediocrity...neither bad enough to stand out, nor good enough to watch." That right there puts it ahead of most of the movies shown on mst3k.
Finally, I need to add some of the KTMA eps. Even though the riffing is sub-par, the movies are almost watchable enough to salvage the episodes. Some examples are SST Death Flight and Superdome.

I'm going to agree with a lot of the previous posts (especially mentions of shows like Bloodlust, This Island Earth and a few others), but I must say that I like the Un-MSTed Commando Cody shorts.
I watched them out of curiosity, and the special effects are actually phenomenal for the time period. Also, while the scenario doesn't make much sense and a good amount of the plot is laughable, it really is a fine example of the type of serial adventures that you'd find at theaters of the time.
That plus I think one of the villains was The Lone Ranger, or something.

I'm embarrassed to even bring this up because the execution was so poor, but parts: the clonus horror had a pretty interesting plot, at least on the surface. The movie was ultimately ruined by a terrible script and laughable acting, but I think that hidden under all that muck there was something much more original and worthwhile than your usual bad movie storyline.

I can understand that. Most of these movies had good, talented people working on them at some point, and some of the work can shine through in the special effects, music, conceptual planning or plot.
Even Manos gets some redemption. I don't know who that clarinetist was in the tension building music, but he/she could tongue a lot faster than I can.

"Sword and the Dragon" I enjoy, it's fun.
"The Girl in Lovers' Lane" isn't too bad, they have some decent acting in that one. The old guy (who was the bad guy in "Shane") really sold me as a grieving, heart broken father at the end. The damn movie actually stirred up genuine emotion in me, rare for a msted movie.

I almost added "Girl in Lovers' Lane" to my list, but the ending just bugged the crap out of me. It was so pointlessly depressing, but not in the overly ambitious almost humorous way that High School Big Shot was.

Well the one that sticks out most in my mind is "Kitten With a Whip". Yeah, the ending sucked overly covenient ass, but in the beginning I thought the premise was semi-interesting.

I'm gonna throw Phase IV out there. It's not the type of movie that I'd actually sit down to watch without a decent riffing, but it proposed a few interesting questions, presented them intelligently and seemed like a jaunty throwback to earlier sci-fi stories.

I forgot to mention High School Big Shot. For some reason, that one hit me as not that bad at all.
