I'm sitting here watching the Hamlet episode right now thinking "Jeez the guy who dubbed Claudius' voice sounds strangly familiar." Then it hits me, this dude sounds just like Ricardo Montalban. Does anyone know who dubbed Claudius?
KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!

If it is him, then that makes this episode all the more sweeter. And I'm in the minority that likes this episode!

Yep, it's him. Go to this page on the IMDb: www.imdb.com/title/tt0053888/fullcreditsHamlet is one of my least favorite episodes, though I blame that on the movie not Mike and the bots. I thought it was weird that they made no reference to Ricardo in the episode. Or did I miss it? -Pete

Holy crap that's awsome! I'm a big Ricardo fan!
At least voicing this wasn't as shameful as being in a Spy Kids movie. That I'll never forgive him for.

We've had this discussion before in a separate thread and I seem to recall the consensus there was that Hamlet's uncle was likely dubbed by Carlos Montalban, Ricardo's soundalike brother.
Carlos got a lot of English dub work in the 1960s, including several Godzilla movies.

Well, whomever it was, they did a good job. And that was definitely John Banner dubbing for Polonius.

I will continue to believe that it was Ricardo because it's way more fun that way.

I'm more inclined to believe it was Ricardo, too, after hearing this sound clip of Carlos. youtu.be/_rb-PToIoVQThe voice is close but it doesn't quite have that "Perdition's Flames" oomph... if you know what I mean.
