It seems to me as if there are no fans who have been devoted or internet MST3K from Comedy Central. Everyone seems to come from the Sci-Fi era posting era. Was anyone here on the internet during the Comedy Central days?
-Happy now people?

I am a fan from the first season. I was there for "the Crawling Eye" and Josh Wienstien. When Josh was the voice of Tom Servo. A friend of mine has quite a few of the CC eps taped and they are watched religiously.

Were you on the internet then? I wasn't, I got my first computer in '99. And Tranq, the majority of the board members here are fairly young so probably not.

Been a fan since I saw "Fire Maidens of Outer Space" back in the CC era. Screw downloading from the net. I've got DSL and it still takes about three days.

Servo Once again that's very nice but the VavHagar's question was "Was anyone here on the internet during the Comedy Central days?" Let's pay attention to the topic people. Harumph!

I've been a fan since season 2, when I was in high school. When I was a Freshman in college (1993), I sent my first email. Yes, kids, there was a time before email and stupid little emoticons when we were forced to share our feelings through personal interaction. By the time I was done with college, I had participated in much internet dialogue about MST3K. There wasn't anything as organized as this board, but there were some newsgroups and email lists I frequented. Obviously the Joel-Mike flame wars are what I remember most. Just for fun, I often used the pseudonym "Joike". That way I was an equal opportunity offender. Now if only I could get Gypsy to make me a sweater...

Once again, I believe the topic is whether or not you posted on-line during the Comedy Central era, not how long you've been a fan.

When I first saw MST3K, I only had America Online, which isn't really considered "internet". Also, I didn't know too much about the show, other than the fact that it had a movie, and a show somewhere in cable-land.
