Long time fan, recent poster Yeah, fine but nothing to do with the topic. Were you on the internet during the Comedy Central days? Let's read the topic people. Don't make me go Deep 13 on your ass.

I've been on the 'net since '94, and an MSTie since then. There was a huge online presence for MSTies even then, but most of them seem to have fallen off the radar or developed other obsessions (the nerve).
Most of the current MSTies were soiling their diapers during the great Joel vs. Mike flame war, TV's Frank's departure, the drama involving the movie, and the battles with Comedy Central (remember the everpresent "Aptiva" commercial that was shown TWICE during each break in late 1995? I had a physically dangerous, stressfull, graveyard-shift job in the early '90s and MST was one of the few ways I could unclench and relax.
I remember the glorious days when MST3K was broadcast daily, and was hard to miss while channel surfing. Oh, to have had the foresight to tape these in SP. MST has aged very well.

Phantom are you having a bad day? Your frustration is oozing through the screen. I'm always the last to join the modern world, so no. I wasn't on the internet. Missed the fun of the Joel/Mike flame war etc.

I was a fan back then, but I didn't have computer and internet access until the sci-fi era. And I think you need to cut some of the folks some slack after all, you worded the topic question poorly, "Where are all the Comedy Central era fans?" That implies one thinks only people who like the episodes from Sci-Fi years are here. Perhaps a better question to get that answer you want would have been, "Have you been on the internet since the Comedy Central era?" or something like that.

And I was drunk with beer There I changed it. Although the one suggested was too long like I thought.

Well, appease Phantom, yes, I did have the internet when I first saw MST3K but there really wasn't too much info accesible (or that I could find) about the show back then.
Let's all be happy for what we have now,

I was not on the internet back in the CC era, but I was watching. I've been a fan since season 2.

I am a fan of both because I have become a hard core fan rather recently since the discovery of tape trading.

I am definately a fan from the CC days. I used to print the weekly schedules on my old 25 mhz pc (it had a turbo button that overclocked it to 50mhz) lol. I still have most of them saved. I also was fortunate enough to find Trace's email address about the time to movie was released. I wrote him to thank him for such an enjoyable series/movie, and listing some of my favorite qoutes/sketches of his. He responded with a very cordial (and unfortunately short) e-mail. He ended it with the statement, "Thank you, You kind, kind man. Unfortunately, I lost that one in the various moves throughout my life.

I like Comedy Central Era episodes.
I'm very confused by the complexity of this topic.
