It could, but, I just like Fire Maidens because of the malice of Timmy. I mean, he bites Joel, the takes out Servo about halfway through. I don't know the glorious contempt he showed to our loveable, easy-going crew just makes me laugh until it hurts to this day.

I would love to own a Timmy model...maybe one day I'll build one. I have to finish my Servo first!

Bride of The Monster Along with loving the MST version of this flick, I'm also one of the worlds biggest Bela Lugosi fans.
It just happens to have my favorite line of all time in it: By Bela Lugosi, of course!
“My dear Professor Strowski, twenty years I was banned from my homeland, parted from my wife and son never to see them again. Why ? Because I suggested to use the atomic elements for producing super-beings, beings of unimaginable strength and size. I was classed as a madman, a charlatan, outlawed in the world of science which had previously honoured me as a genius. Now here in this forsaken jungle hell I have proved that I am alright. No, Professor Strowski, it is no laughing matter ... Home ? I have no home. Hunted ! Despised ! Living like an animal. The jungle is my home. Then I will show the world I can be its master. I will perfect my own race of people, a race of atomic supermen which will conquer the world!!”
I'm here to tell ya! THAT is one great theatrical performance. Bela, I love ya man!

Did you like ED WOOD? It's one of my top 10 films. If you mean the Burton flick, then, yes! I loved it! Martin Landau played a great Bela.

But does anyone agree with Ray D. Steckler aka Cash Flagg that Ed Wood the movie would have been better if shot on a budget of a genuine Ed Wood movie. Fancy that: me agreeing with Steckler. I have to go shoot myself now...

After a quick perusal of my personal list of 4 star episodes (I only allow 10 to be in that list), I gotta go with....
Girl's Town.
I thought about Pod People or Godzilla Vs. Megalon for their superior host segments, but Girl's Town has singing, dancing, Mel Torme, 50s beatnik slang, gangs, nuns, Dick Contino, and most of all...Mamie Van Doren.

Since I only have a few on DVD (most are on VHS), my choices are limited. But I'd have to go with "Manos - The Hands of Fate".
I don't think I'll ever get the Torgo theme song out of my head. A bad movie but a great episode.

Man you make it difficult Poe. A while back I had a time capsule essentials thread but it was for 24 episodes. Pick just one? My puzzler hurts.

I'd rather live with no episodes than just one epsiode. I love too many for me to pick just one. For example, I love Pod People for an unexplainable feeling I get every time I see it, but I laugh more at Space Mutiny. I just couldn't pick. Exactly. Damn you Poe!!!

I'am torn between these three episodes
Manos Hands of Fate Future War Merlin's Hop er I mean Shop of Mystical Wonders
Well after thinking it over I'am going with Merlin just because I like how they tried to pass 1984(The scenes from Devil's Gift)off as 1995 and how they tried to pass this movie off as a kiddie film which it ain't
