This is probbably a post from before, but I have the book Death Rat, written by the wonderful Michael J. Nelson. I blew my last bits of money on it, too. I now only have one dollar, but trillions of days of entertainment (or maybe just a few) Please do not post anything about what will happen in the book, just how cool the book is, for I have yet to finish the wonderful piece of art that is DEATH RAT.

Death Rat ruled. Not my favorite novel (that would be Sphere), but pretty close.

Sphere was great. Not my favorite, that would be A Confederacy of Dunces. Never read it. But I'm pretty devoted to Crichton and Nelson.

MSTies will love Milky Way Marmalade (nominated for an EPPIE). In fact, Mike Nelson requested a copy and is (hopefully) reading it.

Try Flatland or Sphereland for some great reads. I go through about 5 books a week. The last really good one I found was Fat White Vampire Blues by Andrew Fox

Is Death Rat really good? It looks interesting, and I loved Megacheese and Mind Over Matters, so I'm pretty sure I'll like his new book. I'm only asking since its a novel rather than a collection of essays.

An EPPIE is sort of the idie film awards for books. Books published by smaller publishers and are available in Ebook format as awell as Trade paperback. Milky Way Marmalade is very funny and if you love classic rock, well, it helps save the Universe.
