Can someone tell me about the Little Gold Statue Preview? I have no idea what it is. Well, I can guess that it's a sequel to the Academy Of Robots' Choice Awards...but I'm not positive and I know nothing about (not even the DAP has any info...no air date etc.). Thanks

I don't know what year it came out, but I beleive it was Mike at the helm and was the first of this type. It was an Oscar special but for some reason the bots didn't sit in the theater?!
The Elton John stuff was funny (I think he was doing "Lion King", which dates the special) and Tom & Crow were hot for Robert Redford!

What? MST3K were at the Oscars??! Explain this more thoroughly. LITTLE GOLD STATUE (CC, 1995) Genre: Oscar Review Spoof (Color) Don's Review: In this special, the 'Bots light-heartedly review the Oscar nominees for the film year 1994. These include Pulp Fiction, Forrest Gump, Four Weddings and a Funeral, and – most important of all – Robert Redford... that is, the Robert Redford directed film Quiz Show, but the 'Bots are more obsessed with the director himself than the actual movie. This is an amusing half-hour special that's worth checking out. Don's Rating:*** It's on the Review site.

A similar question, I have the Poopie Parade Of Values thing (Mike, Kevin & Trace hawking the Poopie and Scrapbook tapes) and I was wondering around when that aired. Anyone know?

It was first aired during the turkey day marathon '95.
