'Sup everyone! Greetings from that sub-zero degree planet we all know as Wisconsin! Ive been watching MST3K since 1992.
Anyways, as for my 1st contribution to this forum, if you want to call it that, its really obscure. Its no biggie, but I thought it was cool when I first stumbled upon it. If you are a huge MST3K guru, I think you'll get a kick out of it to.
Remember the cheesy music in Pod People at the scene in the forest when the coffee drenched groupie and kindling gathering Rick met in the forest? Well right after Crow sez, "Hey, put the Casio back in the van.", that song can be heard.
Well the 2 DJs of the hip-hop group Jurassic 5 paid a tribute to this MST3K movie by putting this cheesy music at the end of one of their songs called "Thin Line", found on the "Power in Numbers" CD. Its there in all of its glory, and actually goes well with this song which is really pretty good anyways.
Anyways, glad to be here!!

That sounds cool, i'll have to check that out. I'm not much of a rap fan, though.

Yes I got that avatar pic from the "Show History-Ten Years of MST3K" link at Satellite News. They have some great pics, like of Jack Perkins, or Joel in the Escape Pod. Check it out.

Yeah man, I dig the avatar. I might go try to find me a new one myself. I'll also have to check out that Jurassic 5 track as Pod People is one of my fav eps.

My first post too! Got my membership card to the fan club years ago and have been an MST3K fan for many years. I'm going to like it here.

That Avatar was first shown as part of an add for one of the Turkey Day anthologies accompaning episode 107 (Robot Monster). Correct me if I am wrong.
