Anyone here remember the Kentucky Fried Movie? From the lare 70's, the guys that did Airplane! and Police Squad. Their first movie. I just got it from Amazon. For me it's the best of the "skit" movies.

The only part of that movie I remember liking was the "You have our graditude" Enter The Dragon skit. That was hilarious with that guy saying it in every insignificant conversation. I haven't seen it since high school though, so I don't remember the rest.

I wish to see it, but my mom said it was bad. . . But then again, she said "Love don't cost a Thing" is good. . . .

I think she means bad like "ITLL WARP YOUR FRAGILE LITTLE MIND" bad. Did "Love Don't Cost a Thing" have a moral at the end?
Kentucky Fried Movie, Airplane, Top Secret, and Police Squad were all so great. Everything the zuckers made after that is just depressing. The Naked Gun is okay, but it's where they started to slip into using too much bad "guy gets bonked on the head" slapstick.

I really dig the Kentucky Fried Movie. That Enormous Genitals bit cracked me up. I also have The Groove Tube, which is the same genre and was made about the same time. I think the Groove Tube is just a bit funnier than KFM. By the way, has anyone seen Amazon Women From the Moon? Apparently it's the same type of skit movie that was made sometime in the early 80's.

A friend at work tells me I should see Amazon Women From the Moon. I've seen Groove Tube and Tunnel Vision but I think KFM is the king of skit movies.
