TV movies or series episodes slapped together pretending to be a movie. The Fugitive Aliens and Mighty Jack were left off due to lack of space and it keeps it all domestic anyway. And Code Name: Diamond Head was already in the spy genre. Who's the favorite?

Overdrawn at the Memory Bank, because cheesy 80's-PBS effects and bad Casablanca imitations can't be beat. That, and it exposes the fact that anteaters are severely overrated.

I'm with Revenant on dis one, yung. Even though it was an actual movie not pieced together, unlike Merlin's Shop which was pieced together.

My source says "(1983; Canada/USA Public Television; NR; 84m)." And it's shot on video tape. Do you have any evidence of Overdrawn having been shown theatrically?

Listen homey, are america's home videos not movies? No, their not. By movies I mean something that played in a theater. I mean shot with theaters in mind. You kids today, growing up with home video! You just don't know the difference. Why back in my day....

Time of the Apes should be up there. I refrain from voting for the fact that it is not up there.

Time of the Apes should be up there. I refrain from voting for the fact that it is not up there. Ok don't vote. I mentioned the other Japanese shows. One might have thought that one would draw the conclusion from the Japanese TV shows mentioned that they are not included in this genre. There are enough non Gamera Japanese entries to warrant their own category. One might have thought it would have been obvious.

My God, this series (thread) gets plagued by more anal, nit pickiness...
I'm not going to bitch, just gonna go with "SF International". Simply because it's hysterical when Pernell Roberts asks "fly-boy" for his dental records! Ah, for fun.
Edt: Phantom, perhaps you should have titled this... "Episodes with made for TV movies or TV shows melded into a movie which didn't show in theaters, only on TV and were originally US releases only poll"

While Overdrawn is an excellent episode, Riding With Death runs away with the award. What a funny episode!

Time of the Apes and Legend of Dinosaurs were also TV eps merged into a movie. But since they're Japanese, they don't count, I guess. Who could forget John Banner in "Crash of the Moons?" Well, everyone exposed to it wants to forget, but can't.
