Okay, I'll admit it: I watched the Emmys last night. I don't really have much respect for these kinds of awards are ceremonies, but was anyone almost hoping for MST3K to be in the "shows that ended" segment of the event?

The show ended in 1999. It was only taken out of reruns this year.

The special contained older shows like Cheers.

The special contained older shows like Cheers. Yet there's still no reason they would put it there. It was a cult show on cable. Cheers is a popular sitcom. MST3K may have been great, but it's always looked over. I don't see why you're disappointed.

If you were a true fan, you would go kill some celebrity, and then say you did it because you loved MST3k so much. Then it would get world-wide attention.

I don't see why you're disappointed. I thought my original post implied that I didn't honestly expect to see it, but anyway...
