Oh, and the tape looks a lot better than the files.

Thanx! That's a great find after all these years.
I like some of those KTMA eps.

Cool, thanks!!!! I was hoping you'd decide to put it online (either like this or through DAP)
And in response to your thing about the guy who says he can get K00-K03. Just want to wish you good luck getting all lost episodes/segments released at around the same time. (not that I'd really put a lot of faith on him - but who knows, keep us updated).

Hell, DAP will have it soon enough. The reason I fought so hard to get this exclusively was because Michael and I feel the same way about MST3K. Any member here who knows me knows that I hate people trying to make a lot of money off of the show, and have even reported a number of people selling our DVDs on Ebay. We wanted to secure it so that one of those heartless profiteers would not get a hold of it. We are discussing the distribution at this very moment. Look for an announcement soon.

The thing about having K00-K03 was a joke. i'm glad to see at least one person fell to my evil plan.
And Trace's MN accent is heavy in the K years.

You have to consider all comers. I mean, I had my doubts about Amethyst's claim at first, too!

Yes, but that was me, and I'm now admitting that was a joke. I never thought anyone was falling for it. I can't believe what a sham my life has become. So let the facade come down! Go ahead and heap the hatred and shame upon my head, I deserve it!
End result: no one has K00-K03. No one.

You can hear Joel and the bots coversing with thick Minnesota accents when they're doing the "Oh, my it's so ding-dang cold out" routine at the beginning of "The Day the Earth Froze". (You can also hear a greatly exaggerated version of the MN accent spoken by the characters in the movie "Fargo.") It's sort of a Swedish-y brogue (wherein you hear the words "Ya!" and "Uff da!" spoken a lot.) The accent is a lot more pronounced in rural areas of Northern/Central Minnesota than it is down in the Twin Cities, where everyone speaks normal....
