I could not sleep last night so I put on the Catalina caper,
This is also the first episode that I ever saw of the show. Now I don't think that this episode is really that funny but I like it. And it came to me that I like it because It was the first episode that I ever saw of the show. And I was wondering is the first episode you saw seem special to you or is it just me.....
If this was a topic allready (IM SORRY...)

I watched casually way back in 1991 but then stopped watching and didn't start again until last year. I'm now a HUGE fan of the show and plan on someday having all of the episodes on DVD. I currently have 59.
Anyway the first one I watched after not having seen the show for many years was Pod People. I LOVE that episode and I guess it is special to me. It was the one that showed me just how brilliant the show really is and started my obsession!

Well, the first full episode I saw was MITCHELL, and I got hooked, so I never get tired of watching it. I always have that warm, fuzzy feeling every time I watch it.

That is also the case for me. The first episode it can remember watching was Godzilla vs Megalon and it holds a that first episode feeling also.
Catalina Caper was one of the first episodes that I watched with a buddy of mine who was a fan of the show also and we would get together to watch each weekend so that episode also has the first episode feel to it as well.

I have learned on this board that many peoples favorite ep is the first one. Someone once posted that loved Hamlet, the first one they saw of course. I started watching in the early 90s and don't remember the first one. But it sure makes an impact on a lot of people.

Yeah. It's all true. I still get mildly teary eyed every time I watch Zombie Nightmare. My heart races, I feel all warm and fuzzy. Yep. It is safe to say that I am in love with that episode.

The first episode I saw was "First Spaceship On Venus" I think I saw it back in 1996 at the Museum of Natural History, in New York. After that, I hadn't seen any episodes for a long time, due to no cable. I saw Boggy Creek II on Sci-Fi early August of 2003. Then shortly after I found DAP and started downloading episodes. I haven't gotten around to either of these two yet, so I don't know how sentimental I feel about them.

I don't remember my first ep, either from casually watching in the early 90s to when I got hooked in '99 so I'll go with my first taped ep which was Parts: The Clonus Horror. Yeah it is definately sentimental but not even in my top ten. Top 25 maybe.

Maybe sampo will regale us with his first episode story once again. I never tire of it.

Maybe sampo will regale us with his first episode story once again. I never tire of it. "I was 16 or 17...the night was still and yet young in a manner. My girlfriend thought I might like it and gave me a tape of enter ep here and she soon dumped me when I professed my love for MST over her. I've never looked back since."

It's good to come to a place where everyone knows you so well.
And it's been a long time since phantom was sarcastic and snotty with me. I almost missed it.
and phantom, feel free to enter the correct episode into yousonuva's story. If you get it right, you'll get a cookie.

The Lost Continent was the first one I saw all the way through. I haven't seen it since and want to get it soon...I'll probably (Wild Rebels will probably do the same for me...I'm pretty that's the ep I glimpsed for the first time, with the sound down so low I couldn't here the jokes)

First ep that made me a fanatic, the one that got me started, was Red Zone Cuba. It just hit me like a ton of bricks that this was brilliant! I never tire of it and I wonder why people don't consider this an absolute classic.
