Has anyone compiled a definitive list of the episodes to which Shout! only has the physical media rights and not the streaming rights? Squirm, The Projected Man, Diabolik, and the Universal episodes appear to occupy this category.

Seriously, let's find out who the hell own Quest Of The Delta Knights! It's blowin' my cotton-pickin mind that even now no one knows who owns it, especially being such a (relatively) new movie! I would have never thought DELTA KNIGHTS would turn out to be a "mystery" title... While the film has obviously had been licensed for the international market (judging from the random DVD releases from around the world I've come across), the U.S. distribution rights must have gotten shuffled in the years since its VHS debut. It is weird, considering it's a newer DTV movie (and one that was played quite frequently on Sci-Fi back when, not that TV rights have much say in this matter). So either Shout has had difficulty finding where the chain-of-ownership ends, or it's wound up in the hands of some defunct company, or is currently held by an individual who isn't interested in licensing it/wants too much money. I wish we knew what was the case! I’ve done some research on this through the Copyright registry and while all the other remaining movies are pretty clear, the trail for Delta Knights seems to end in 2002 when it appears the copyrights were mortgaged to an Israeli bank, Bank Luemi USA. However, 70 other movies were included in that transaction, such as most of the Hellraiser movies, Creepshow 2 and the Neverending Story, among others. The list can be seen here: cocatalog.loc.gov/cgi-bin/doctitles.cgi?V3481D422

Bank Luemi has a branch in Los Angeles. Maybe someone should tell Shout about that? Even if they don't own the movie anymore, they must have records of when it was sold off? I've heard of mortgaging a house, but a movie? I just know this is going to lead to a dark sordid tale of money laundering via bad movies.

I'd love to know what the official story is from Shout one day.

Has anyone compiled a definitive list of the episodes to which Shout! only has the physical media rights and not the streaming rights? Squirm, The Projected Man, Diabolik, and the Universal episodes appear to occupy this category. This guide goes episode-by-episode and lists which platforms the episodes are available on for streaming (also noting in-print DVD availability) www.denofgeek.com/us/tv/mst3k/260315/watch-mst3k-episodes-streaming-guide

It would be nice to adopt and adapt that list into this thread as well, to make it even more of an availability 'one stop shop' post, giving credit to Den Of Geek for the original research compilation of course.

The DVD set says “under license from Rocca Delle Macie, S.p.A.”

They don't exist anymore. They were burned in a fire that took all of Shout Factory down.
